Nick Cannon has added another branch to his family tree.
The baby-making machine and “Wild-N-Out” host welcomed his eighth child with the recent birth of a new baby with Bre Tiesi.
The 31-year-old Instagram model announced the birth of the couple’s son on social media Monday, sharing a slideshow of photos from the birthing experience.
“I did it. An all natural unmedicated home birth. This was the most humbling / limit pushing yet awakening and completely empowering experience,” she wrote on Instagram. “I can’t thank my team enough for delivering my son safely. This experience has changed me forever and I couldn’t of asked for a more amazing and supportive partner. Daddy showed the f up for us.. I couldn’t of done it without you. I can’t believe he’s here.”
Tiesi later shared a “very emotional labor and delivery vlog,” which revealed the newborn’s name, Legendary Love.
The baby is Tiesi’s first child with Cannon, who has fathered seven other children with four women.
The 41-year-old former daytime talk show host shares 11-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, with singer Mariah Carey; Golden, 5, and Powerful Queen, 1, with ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell; and one-year-old twins, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, with DJ and entrepreneur Abby De La Rosa.
Zen, Cannon’s 5-month-old son with model Alyssa Scott, succumbed to a brain tumor in December. “It’s been one of the toughest weeks of my life,” he shared on his daytime talk show. “I always say, ‘You don’t go through it, you grow through it.’ So I feel myself growing.”
Though he catches a lot of flack for procreating, the “Drumline” actor brushes off the criticism. On his syndicated radio show last July, Cannon proudly stated: “I’m having these kids on purpose. I don’t have no accident.”
“Trust me, there’s a lot of people that I could’ve gotten pregnant that I didn’t,” he doubled down. “The ones that got pregnant are the ones that were supposed to get pregnant.”
