Niall Horan is preparing to release his third solo album but has shared his plans to take to the stage at Glastonbury Festival – but not just yet.
The hitmaker who is known for his hits including Black & White and No Judgement is currently sitting as a coach on The Voice US and recently revealed had he auditioned for himself, he wouldn't have turned.
But ahead of the release of his upcoming album, The Show, the 29-year-old has his sights set on being the first member of One Direction to conquer the stage at the world's most famous festival.
Reflecting on Glastonbury, the Mullingar-born legend said: "At some point, I'd absolutely love to, yeah."
However, he went on to tell NME: "I won't be doing it this year, but yeah if the Eavis family are listening out, give me a shout."
In recent days, fans of the group who were formed on The X Factor have speculated that they might be preparing to announce a reunion in the coming weeks.
Niall added fuel to the fire as he confirmed he sends his unreleased songs to his former bandmates to get their honest opinion.
He told Esquire: "This time I sent it to Louis, and he gave me his honest opinion on it, which is always handy.
"We've released enough songs over the years, so we know what's decent and what's not, all the 1D boys and artists alike, I'll always try and send it around and get everybody's opinion."
Meanwhile, fans went into overdrive when Harry Styles was spotted arriving in the States just after Louis Tomlinson announced he'd postponed the Asian leg of his tour and Zayn Malik, who famously opts to stay away from social media has shared a string of snaps after sources close to Liam Payne claimed he was championing a reunion.
Some believe that the chart-mauling group will be reuniting to perform on the final episode of James Corden's The Late Late Show – although this has not been confirmed.
Sources close to Payne told OK! Magazine: "Liam is desperate to get back on the road with the boys, his solo career hasn't remained as successful as he hoped it would, and work has become stagnant for him.
"He knows he's somewhat fallen out of favour with the public, and believes the only way he'll be able to win back his fans is with a One Direction reunion."
