New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday conducted multiple searches across five states in a case related to terror financing involving terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), officials said.
The NIA conducting raids across five states and Union Territories, including J&K,Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, and Delhi, according to the officials.

According to reports, the NIA and the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) carried out raids at various locations in Maharashtra, including Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Malegaon and Jalna.

So far, four people have been detained and being investigated for their possible connection to terror outfit, according to the reports.
Jaish-e-Mohammad is a Pakistan-based terrorist outfit which claimed responsibility for the Pulwama terror attack in 2019.
