NI weather forecast for the bank holiday weekend

Whether you're out marking the King's Coronation this weekend or otherwise engaged, you'll need to know what the weather has in store.

The weekend looks set to follow this week's trend of warm weather mixed with rain.

There will be showers mixed in with sunny spells and it'll turn dull at th start of next week before brightening up.

Here's your weather forecast for the weekend and the week ahead:

Saturday:

Mist and low cloud clearing, but perhaps only slowly from the east coast, then bright or sunny spells and a few sharp showers and warm in sunshine with light winds. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Rather cloudy on Sunday with the odd shower. Dull and wet Monday, but drier, brighter later with westerly winds. Mostly dry and bright Tuesday, perhaps a shower, but rain later.
