NI picnic spot named in top ten 'most Instagrammable in the UK'

A NI picnic spot has been named in the top ten 'most Instagrammable in the UK'.

National Picnic Week begins on Saturday, June 18 and runs to June 26.

Eager to provide some picnic inspiration, experts at Cazaar.co.uk decided to find out the most Instagrammable picnic spots throughout the UK.

Mussenden Temple in Co Derry came in at number 7, with 27,424 hashtags on Instagram.

This was achieved by extracting a seed list of 21 popular picnic locations and collecting the number of hashtags each had generated.

Here are the most picture-perfect picnic spots ranked:

The title of the most Insta-worthy picnic spot in the UK goes to the magnificent Chatsworth House with a total of 127,319 hashtags on the social media platform.

It has also been used as a filming location quite a few times. Some of the movies shot there include Pride and Prejudice, The Duchess and the series Peaky Blinders.
