Two comedians from Northern Ireland have been caught up in a Twitter spat with Piers Morgan after a video went viral.
Italian-Irish comedian Vittorio Angelone tweeted a clip from one of his recent stand-up shows at Vauxhall Comedy Club in London on Tuesday, November 15.
In the clip shared on Wednesday, November 16, after discovering one of Piers Morgan's producers is in the crowd, Vittorio jokes about Piers' show, Uncensored, and "cancel culture."

Retweeting the clip later in the day, Vittorio added: "The producer of Piers Morgan UNCENSORED has contacted me and said she’s not happy with this clip so please don’t watch it guys x."
In response, Piers Morgan shared the tweet, adding: "Pick on me d*ckhead, not my hard-working young female staffers."
After seeing this, comedian Shane Todd replied to Piers: "Well then you pick on me d*ckhead, not my hard-working young male tour openers."
Vittorio Angelone has been tour support for Shane Todd in the past, as well as comedians such as Jason Manford, Adam Rowe, and Dan Nightingale.
Speaking to Belfast Live about how the story came about and the reaction it's gathered online, Vittorio said: "The MC of the night had asked her [Piers' producer] what she did for a living earlier in the night and she volunteered the information incredibly quickly so I had a quick google at the back of the room to see who she was.
"A lot of the traction is cool and I think it’s really funny that the team behind a show called 'UNCENSORED' are trying to get the video taken down. It’s amazing how much they’re proving my point.
"I do feel a little bad about people being nasty to the producer lady. You hope everyone has the sense not to go after people in a horrible way but the Internet is a wild place.
"Hopefully she doesn’t get too much grief but I can’t imagine Piers sharing it will have helped the problem."
Earlier this year, the Belfast comedian was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe 2022. In 2021, he reached the regional final of the BBC New Comedy Award.
Vittorio moved to London in 2014 and has accelerated through the comedy ranks at an anxiety inducing rate. He has built a large following online through his podcasts, sketches and stand-up clips amassing millions of views and in 2023 he will on his first solo stand-up tour of the UK and Ireland.
