NI £600 energy payment: How Budget Energy customers can check status of their voucher

Northern Ireland households began receiving their £600 energy payment from the government earlier this month.

Those who pay their electric bills by direct debit will receive the £600 into their bank accounts. Vouchers are being sent by post to all other customers.

If you do not receive your payment by the end of February, contact your electric supplier.

Budget Energy has put together an online form for its customers to be able check the status of their payment.

To complete this form, you will need either your MPRN or KPN.

The Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) is the 11-digit number found on the card that the meter reader leaves (also displayed on electricity bills at the address).

The Keypad Point Reference Number (KPRN) is the 19-digit number on the keypad top up card, starting with the numbers 98.

Keypad customers can enter either an MPRN or a KPRN.If you don’t know your MPRN, you can call NIE Networks for it on 03457 643 643

You can use the Budget Energy calculator HERE.

If you are a Power NI customer, you can find out about their calculator HERE.
