Bosses at NHS Forth Valley say they currently have no plans to reintroduce parking permits - that ban staff parking on the grounds of hospitals.
It comes after NHS Lothian, one of Scotland's biggest health boards, enforced permits - leaving worker parking miles away and travelling by bus late at night.
The scheme, designed to keep spaces free at its hospitals for patients and visitors, was suspended by all Scottish health boards during the coronavirus pandemic.
A NHS Forth Valley spokesperson has this afternoon confirmed to Falkirk Live, that parking at all its hospitals will remain open to all.
The decision has been welcome by workers, with one saying: "This is a huge sigh of relief.
"When I read all the backlash on social media last night after NHS Lothian has brought their system back in, I thought, Forth Valley Royal Hospital will be next.
"However, I am so glad bosses realise the pressure we are all still under.
"Bringing back a permit system again as things stand would be very damaging - the hospital is still struggling and feeling the impacts of Covid.
"Things are improving slowly, but we are still not back to pre-Covid normality."
