NHS clinics in Newcastle where you can get your Spring booster Covid vaccine

While for many of us, regular Covid-19 vaccines are a thing of the past, for specific vulnerable groups, it's still vital to get a booster when you can.

The NHS in our region is now making a final push to encourage people in the groups concerned - the over-75s, people who live in a care home for the elderly, and anyone over the age of five who has a weakened immune system.

After June 30, people will no longer be able to obtain a booster jab, but targeted seasonal campaigns will continue, akin to the flu vaccine programme.

Appointments are also available to book up to 29 June at many sites across the region. Anyone eligible can book: via the National Booking Service, through the NHS App or by calling 119.
