The annual NFLPA survey was released this week, ranking franchises across the league across a multitude of categories, including travel conditions, locker room and stadium conditions, treatment of players’ families and much more.
The Jaguars ranked as the 28th best team out of 32 in this year’s survey, which in totality made the franchise one of the worst-ranked in the NFL. When asked anonymously by players what the number one thing was that they wanted changed, the answer was unanimous.
Get rid of the rats.

Players reported that for three-to-four weeks this season, there was a rat infestation in the locker room and laundry hampers in Jacksonville. This NFLPA survey comes on the heels of a report in November that there were dead rats found in the concession stands across TIAA Bank Field, the Jaguars’ home stadium.
The grotesque problem was at the top of the list of complaints by the players, followed by the feeling that the franchise could do a better job of taking care of players’ families.
Regarding the family issue, players reported instances of wives having to nurse their babies on the floor of public restrooms at the stadium because there was no available private space for the families of players.
Sounds like owner Shad Khan has some work to do this offseason.
