The Texans have been at the forefront of many draft storylines ever since they solidified their position with the No. 2 pick in the 2023 draft. Whether the storylines have been good or bad has varied. But all the talk and speculation finally will end Thursday night when Houston makes its selection, but a cryptic tweet posted by the Texans didn’t help their case for staying under the radar until then.
“Failure is not an option: it’s necessary,” the tweet read. “Every misstep is a lesson learned. Every setback a chance to grow stronger. Embrace the struggle and become unstoppable.”
It was a bit dramatic for an early morning tweet on a Monday.

The Panthers hold the No. 1 pick and are likely to select Alabama quarterback Bryce Young, leaving the Texans with no shortage of options.
