Injuries suck, but they are a part of professional sports. Of course, they’re also part of fantasy sports and betting. In both instances, they can be the difference between wins and losses on a weekly basis.
If you’re a follower of the game and invested watcher, you’ll surely want to know which players are in and which are out of lineups going into games. We’re here to help you keep a tab on all of the important ones.
It’s playoff time! Before the weekend’s Wild Card round gets underway, many teams will have to deal with injuries on the offensive side of the ball. Whether its for DFS purposes or just simply wanting to stay fresh on each team’s injuries, you’ve come to the right place.
Here are the injuries to monitor throughout the week.
QBs Lamar Jackson, Tyler Huntley - Baltimore Ravens
Unless this is some sort of gamesmanship the Ravens are playing with the Bengals, it doesn’t appear, Lamar Jackson is on schedule to play Sunday. Meanwhile, Tyler Huntley was limited at Wednesday’s practice after not playing in the regular-season finale.
Officially, #Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (knee) did not practice, while Snoop Huntley (shoulder/wrist) was limited in practice.

From NFL Now: It's been nearly a month and a half, but #Ravens QB Lamar Jackson's knee still doesn't feel right to him. It's no one's fault. But it's why he's considered to be a long-shot to play on Sunday. pic.twitter.com/6abGpv1DHf

WR Isaiah McKenzie - Buffalo Bills
We’ll see if McKenzie can shake the nagging hamstring injury to suit up and take snaps this weekend.

RB Gus Edwards - Baltimore Ravens
Edwards entered the concussion protocols against the Bengals in Week 18, where he remains ahead of their playoff matchup.

WR Mike Williams - Los Angeles Chargers
To the dismay of many, Chargers head coach Brandon Staley played his starters in Week 18 (with nothing to lose or gain in the standings) and was burned. Williams suffered left the game with a back injury and did not return. He still hasn’t.
Do not see WR Mike Williams (back) on the practice field today for #Chargers during period open to media.

RB Raheem Mostert - Miami Dolphins
We’ll see if Mostert can work through a broken thumb ahead of Miami’s Sunday matchup against Buffalo.
Mike McDaniel reiterated that Raheem Mostert’s broken thumb is serious, but said he’d be a fool to rule him out already.

RB Christian McCaffrey - San Francisco 49ers
Maybe this is a big deal, but maybe this isn’t anything at all. I lean toward the latter.
One wrinkle from 49ers practice report: Last week Christian McCaffrey was on the report with knee and ankle injuries. He was limited today with a knee issue — the ankle is no longer listed. Suffice to say, he'll be good to go Saturday.

QB Tua Tagovailoa - Miami Dolphins
It’s official, we will not see Tua on the football field this weekend. Either Teddy Bridgewater or Skylar Thompson will be QB1.
Tua has not been cleared for football activities, per Mike McDaniel — he has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs the Bills

WR Julio Jones - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Jones was unable to stay healthy for much of this past regular season. He missed the regular season finale, so we’ll have to monitor his status at practice this week to understand better if he’ll be back to play Monday night in the rematch against the Cowboys. He’ll be another weapon for Tom Brady and this Bucs offense.
