NFL Week 9 Awards: Jets kicker wiped out and had the worst opening kickoff of the year

Sunday’s NFL Week 9 action was a little crazy, wasn’t it?

We saw Zach Wilson and the New York Jets stun Josh Allen (who became a meme) and the Buffalo Bills with a 20-17 victory at home.

We saw Aaron Rodgers have another brutal afternoon in the Packers’ loss to the Lions, which was the fourth straight defeat for Green Bay.

And we saw Bengals RB Joe Mixon score five touchdowns in Cincinnati’s blowout win over the Panthers.

We also saw a lot more so let’s have some fun and hand out some awards for the good, the bad, and the hilarious moments from Sunday’s games.

Worst job of staying on his feet while kicking the ball off to start the game: Braden Mann.

Watching this to start the day was truly a LOL moment. The Jets got the last laugh, though, as they beat the Bills 20-17.

Nice job of politely asking the opposing QB to stop being so good: Mike McDaniel.

Hey, the Dolphins coach tried his best.

Weirdest/best pregame sunglasses: Justin Jefferson

Look at these beauties! NFL fans had lots of jokes about them.

Worst job of looking like a legendary QB: Aaron Rodgers.

Aaron Rodgers’ nightmare season continued Sunday with a loss to the Lions. He became a hilarious meme during the game, though, so he has that going for him.

Best TD celebration by a lot of dudes: This one by the Bengals.

Snow angels everywhere!

Best TD celebration by a single dude: Tyreek Hill.

Yeah, I’d get hurt trying this.

The most ridiculous TD: This one for the Commanders.

Just how everyone drew it up!

The best job of just taking the ball away from an opponent: Khalil Mack.

Rude!

The best TD run by a second-year QB who is looking really good lately: This one by Justin Fields.

He made this look way too easy.

Worst job of trying to connect with a wide open tight end for what would have been an easy TD: Marcus Mariota.

Kyle Pitts would have walked in for six if this pass was just a little better…

The worst fumble of the week: This one by the Falcons' Ta'Quon Graham.

How did he just drop that? The Chargers kicked a game-winning FG a few players after this:

The worst job of holding on to the ball after picking up a 1st down on a 4th down: Kyler Murray.

Murray picked up a huge first down late in the second quarter… but then did this.

Best job by a team's social media team of roasting their opponent after a huge win: New York Jets.

Bravo, Jet’s social media team:

The worst job of trying to pull off a trick play: This fail by the Cardinals' offense.

Yeah, you can’t do this:
