The oddsmakers have the Los Angeles Rams as the favorites in Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They’re not the only ones expecting the Rams to win, though.
Experts who cover the NFL are also projecting a Los Angeles victory in Week 7. According to Tallysight, 83% of the 265 experts who submitted picks this week are taking the Rams to beat the Steelers straight-up this weekend. Accounting for the 3-point spread, 69% of experts expect the Rams to cover and beat Pittsburgh by at least a field goal.
The Rams are 4-1-1 against the spread this season and with the number being relatively low, it’s not surprising to see so many experts taking Los Angeles to cover.
What’s working against the Rams is the fact that they’re 0-4 against the Steelers in their last four meetings, and Pittsburgh is also 12-4 under Mike Tomlin following a bye week, including a perfect 6-0 record since 2017.
The Rams have been the better team this season despite having a record that’s worse by a half-game, and this is a contest they should win – especially being at home.
