The Week 15 matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers at Lucas Oil Stadium officially has a date and time, the NFL announced Thursday.
Though the game was listed on the schedule with a date and time as “TBD,” the league announced the Colts and Steelers will be playing Saturday, Dec. 16, at 4:30 p.m. ET. The game will air on NFL Network.
This is the second time the Colts will play in a quasi-prime-time slot, considering they will be the only team playing at the time. The other instance was when the Colts played the New England Patriots over in London in Week 10.
Both the Colts and the Steelers find themselves right in the mix for a wild-card spot. Whether that will remain the case when this matchup arrives isn’t clear, but it makes sense the league would want a playoff-implicated matchup to take place on the Saturday before Christmas.
The two other games flexed to Saturday, Dec. 16, include the Minnesota Vikings at Cincinnati Bengals (1:00 p.m. ET) and the Denver Broncos at Detroit Lions (8:15 p.m. ET).
