We have our third compelling schedule leak of the day. There’s still no confirmation that the Seahawks will be facing the 49ers in the nightcap game on Thanksgiving. However, we do know that they’ll visit the Giants for a Monday Night Football matchup in Week 4. This latest nugget suggests that the first rumor might be true, too.
According to Seattle’s criminally underrated wide receiver and as-yet unproven sports journalist Tyler Lockett, his sources say the team will be playing back to back Thursday games at some point this season and have three games total in 12 days.

Some of his teammates don’t like the sound of it. Here’s Bobby Wagner and Quandre Diggs commiserating in Lockett’s replies.

Hopefully this doesn’t turn out to be the case, as it will cause havoc for the players’ recovery process.
We will learn the truth in about six hours when the full 2023 schedule is released.
