One day soon, the Buffalo Bills may finally win the Super Bowl. With Josh Allen at the helm of perhaps the NFL’s best roster on paper, they are a potential January/February inevitability.
Teams like the Bills are only capable of losing on a bad bounce. Teams like the Bills stomp out underdogs and humble other contenders, almost effortlessly. If there was one team to lock in as the Marquee Squad of the 2022 NFL season — the centerpiece — it is the Buffalo Bills.
As the NFL gets set to release its full schedule for all 32 teams later Thurdsay, they’d do well to keep the Bills front of mind. Circle those wagons!
Give them the max amount of primetime games (five). Make sure they’re on Sunday Night Football at least once a month. Aside from that, Buffalo should be playing in the national afternoon slot — with Jim Nantz and Tony Romo, or Kevin Burkhardt and To Be Determined — calling their every game.
But if the league doesn’t agree, they have other options. There are plenty of good football teams with incredible quarterbacks that could/should be in national games every week. Let’s run through them.
