This is why we love the NFL.
Football can be an unpredictable game, and teams — and records — can change quickly.
Five weeks ago, the Denver Broncos were absolutely blasted by the Miami Dolphins 70-20. On Sunday, the Broncos held Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs to just nine points in a big upset victory.
Denver defeated Kansas City 24-9 to snap a 16-game losing streak against their division rival that dated back to 2015.
Just another week in the NFL.
Elsewhere in the league, the Cincinnati Bengals (4-3) got back on track Sunday with a 31-17 win over the suddenly slumping San Francisco 49ers (5-3) and falling-back-to-earth quarterback Brock Purdy.
Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys (5-2) handled the Los Angeles Rams (3-5) 43-20 and the Carolina Panthers (1-6) got their first win of the season against the Houston Texans (3-4) in a narrow 15-13 victory.
The Las Vegas Raiders (3-4) and Detroit Lions (5-2) are still yet to play on Monday Night Football, but here are our NFL power rankings after (almost) eight weeks of action.
