The playoffs are set to begin this weekend as the Los Angeles Rams and 13 other teams battle for the Lombardi Trophy as the next Super Bowl champions. It’s impressive that the Rams even got into the postseason after starting the year 1-4, but they’re one of the hottest teams left after winning nine of their last 12 games to finish 10-7.
While no one is putting them ahead of teams like the Lions, Bills or Chiefs in the playoff field, they’re not going to be an easy out for any of their opponents – beginning with the Vikings on Monday night.
Experts everywhere released their latest power rankings following the end of the regular season, sorting out the playoff field from 1 to 14. The Rams were ranked between No. 7 and 13, with an average of 10.1 in the nine polls we rounded up.

It’s going to take a remarkable run for the Rams to win it all as the No. 4 seed in the NFC but they already beat the Vikings once, they took the Lions to overtime in Week 1 and they knocked off the Bills, who are one of the favorites in the AFC.
With Sean McVay, Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua, this isn’t a team anyone wants to play in January.
