The Los Angeles Rams head into Sunday’s game with plenty of momentum, having won each of their last six games with their starters on the field. But they’re going up against a Philadelphia Eagles team that’s even hotter, winning 13 of their last 4 following a 2-2 start to the year.
Nothing about this game will be easy for the Rams and most experts are predicting the Eagles to win at home. According to Tallysight, only 24% of experts are picking the Rams to pull off the upset, but 63% are taking them to cover the spread as 6-point underdogs – an indication that they expect the game to be close.
It’s also looking like this could be a lower-scoring game, with 62% of experts picking the under; the line is set at 43.5 points. The potential for snow could be influencing that trend, too.
In their first meeting of the season, the Eagles won, 37-20, easily covering as 3-point favorites on the road. The total did go over the line of 48.5, however.
It’ll take another dominant effort from the defense and improvements on offense in order for the Rams to take down the Eagles on Sunday afternoon. As difficult as that’s going to be, no one should count out a team that has gone 5-1 in the playoffs since 2021.
