NFL fans were livid after Terry Bradshaw and Fox botched the Eagles’ Super Bowl trophy presentation

The Vince Lombardi Trophy presentation is supposed to be about the players and coaches who worked their way to win a Super Bowl. It’s meant to be that ultimate moment of celebration — something for the millions of viewers to take in.

It just usually doesn’t work out that way when Fox is involved. It becomes a Fox sideshow, and after Sunday’s Super Bowl 2025, that very presentation devolved into a complete mess.

Fox sent Terry Bradshaw — who had to apologize after making repeated insensitive comments about Andy Reid’s weight during 2023’s presentation — back out to the podium to carry a presentation that he was clearly unprepared for. The problems started with hot mics picking up an argument as Roger Goodell spoke without audio on his microphone.

Then, Bradshaw took the microphone and stumbled through a congratulatory message to Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie, asking Lurie a question and then immediately interrupting him. And then when it came time to speak to Jalen Hurts, Bradshaw breezed through the fact that the Eagles quarterback had been named Super Bowl MVP.

Fox only stuck with the presentation for four minutes before sending it back to commercial, leaving NFL fans upset about the chaotic end to the broadcast.
