Michael Cera and CeraVe is no doubt an advertising match made in heaven, but it sure made for a bizarre Super Bowl commercial.
During Sunday’s Super Bowl 58 between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, Cera debuted in a commercial for CeraVe, the skincare company. Considering Cera — the actor — shares a very similar name to CeraVe, the pairing makes sense for an advertising campaign.
However, the commercial in question is … well it’s certainly something. I won’t spoil it because it deserves to be watched with fresh eyes, but you definitely won’t be able to guess the first words out of Cera’s mouth.

Yeah, that certainly happened! Here’s how NFL fans reacted to CeraVe’s truly bewildering commercial starring Cera.
