Tom Brady has officially retired from the NFL and is out of football for the foreseeable future and I, for one, am very glad about that.
One person who probably isn’t, though, is Tom Brady himself. Football has been his life for, well, ever. And it’s probably hard to have that life abruptly shift away in such a drastic way.
It’s like one day you’re playing in a playoff game to, hopefully, get another shot at repeating as a Super Bowl champion. Then you’re just out of there the next day. And, well, that probably sucks. Especially considering that Brady has been in Super Bowls for half his career.
Which is probably why the dude has a calendar reminder set for the Super Bowl on his phone.
He shared the reminder on Twitter and it was pretty funny.

You can take the player out of the game but you cannot take the game out of the player. This is clearly a man who was ready to play some football today.
And, sure. This tweet was meant to be funny and is probably just a joke. But this is also Tom Brady. He clearly wanted to be playing today. It would not shock anyone if this was set the moment we found out Los Angeles was hosting the 2022 Super Bowl years ago.
NFL fans saw this and decided it was the perfect opportunity to try and convince this man to come back and play more.
