NFL fans roasted the Commanders’ awful stadium after teams were left without hot water

When Josh Harris took over as owner of the Washington Commanders, he knew that the home stadium of FedEx Field needed work (to put it kindly). But he might be in for a shock when it comes to actually fixing the stadium. It’s beyond saving.

FedEx Field is widely regarded as the worst stadium in the NFL, and the poor experience isn’t even limited to fans in the stands.

The players never know when the stadium’s deteriorating infrastructure will give out next. And for Sunday’s Week 11 matchup between the Commanders and Giants, it meant that the locker rooms had no hot water for showers.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Sunday that an equipment failure left the stadium’s field level without hot water. The team wouldn’t have been able to fix the issue without shutting down water for the entire stadium, which just isn’t an option during a game. So, both teams were faced with the rough news about the water when they returned to the locker rooms.

Again, FedEx Field is known to have embarrassing problems. Parts of the stands break, pipes burst — it’s terrible.

The latest news of the stadium’s problems predictably had NFL fans making jokes about FedEx Field.
