NFL Fans Rightfully Called for Titans Defensive End to be Punished for Dirty Hit That Refs Missed

The Ravens were able to beat the Titans, 24-16 on Sunday in London to improve to 4-2 on the season. Tennessee, meanwhile, dropped to 2-4 and had NFL fans ripping defensive end Jeffery Simmons for a dirty hit that the refs somehow didn’t call. 

In case you missed it, Simmons dove at the legs of Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers, who was already wrapped up and appeared to have his forward progress stopped. This hit could have led to a very serious injury and is the type of hit that the league has tried to crack down on.

Here’s how it went down on a short completion in the second quarter: 

Odell Beckham Jr. didn’t like what he saw and appeared to knee Simmons as he got up. Simmons then pushed OBJ and got called for a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty:
