Kyler Murray just had a no good, very bad second quarter.
In the Arizona Cardinals’ wild card match against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, Murray tossed not one but two excruciating interceptions in the second quarter he’ll want to forget.
The first came with eight minutes left in the second as Murray was being pressured into the Cardinals’ end zone on third and seven. In a move that’d make Carson Wentz proud, Murray tossed a desperation throw that the Rams intercepted with ease for a very short, three-yard pick six that put Los Angeles up 21-0.
Seriously, this one is… really rough.

Yeah, that’s pretty bad.
On the very next possession for Arizona, Murray was intercepted again, this time after a pass intended for James Conner tipped off his fingers and into the hands of the Rams at midfield.

Though no points were given up by the Cardinals after that interception, Arizona still went into halftime with a 21-0 deficit off of those two costly interceptions. NFL fans reacted exactly how you’d expect they would to Murray’s pair of terrible interceptions that closed out a miserable second quarter for the Cardinals.
