Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is famous for his lack of emotion, both on the sidelines and during his press conferences. Belichick—or at least the side he shows the world—can be a wet blanket, something that never ceases to amuse NFL fans.
The Patriots coach was in rare form Thursday night after his squad marched into Acrisure Stadium and stunned the Steelers, 21—18, for just their third win of the season. One would think that such a victory, given what Belichick has endured this season in terms of rumors about his job security, would call for letting one’s hair down. Not for Belichick.
The Patriots coach was as robotic as ever following the win, and fans had plenty of jokes about it.

Belichick, with absolutely zero emotion, greeted his son, safeties coach Brian Belichick on the way to the visitor’s locker room. Anyone thinking that Belichick would let his guard down, even with his own son involved, to react to a win was sorely mistaken.
sharing moments like this with your son is what it’s all about

Instead, it was business as usual for Belichick.
Looks like he just finished his dentist appointment

I think after being in the league for half a century he still loves the game but just ran out of the emotion part lol

Fans did get a rare glimpse of emotion from the longtime Patriots coach on the field, however, as he loudly celebrated a big run that ultimately helped the team clinch the win late in the fourth quarter.

As mundane as Belichick’s reaction seemed on video, he certainly seemed excited about the win during his press conference, as he said he was “happy” for the team and coaches, adding that the result was “very satisfying.”
That’s about as much emotion as one can expect out of Belichick.
The Patriots (3–10) get a few extra days off before playing host to the Chiefs (8–4) at 1 p.m. ET on Dec. 17.
