While NBC’s Sunday Night Football broadcast of the Chiefs and Packers oddly avoided showing cutaways to Taylor Swift in the crowd, CBS had the Taylor shots queued up for big plays by Travis Kelce on Sunday.
Yet, leave it to Tony Romo to make a simple cutaway turn into an awkward on-air gaffe.
After Kelce hauled in a 23-yard pass from Patrick Mahomes against the Bills, the CBS broadcast cut to Swift in her suite at Arrowhead Stadium. And that was when Romo referred to Swift as “Kelce’s wife.”

Either Romo knows something we don’t or he made quite the error on live TV.
According to Swift and Kelce, the two started seeing each other around early August, and they were already a couple when Swift made her first trip to a game at Arrowhead on Sept. 24.
As expected, fans had plenty of jokes about Romo’s remark.
