The Jacksonville Jaguars had their season come to an end Saturday night in Kansas City as a banged up Patrick Mahomes was able to lead the Chiefs to a 27-20 victory that punched their ticket to a fifth straight AFC championship game.
It also means that Lawrence won’t be hitting up the Waffle House when the Jaguars return to Jacksonville whenever the team gets back into town after their flight home.
As your remember, Lawrence and some teammates took a legendary trip to a Waffle House after last week’s dramatic win over the Chargers.
Tonight there is no joy in any of the Waffle Houses in Duval.
NFL fans did have jokes, though.
