The Bears have had a terrible few days leading up to their Week 3 matchup versus the Chiefs. And that was before the two teams even took the field on Sunday.
On the same day that the Dolphins nearly set an NFL record for points scored in a game, Kansas City looks as if it could match that mark against the hapless Chicago defense.
At halftime, the Chiefs led the Bears, 31–0, and fans had plenty to say about it.
This Bears team is approaching lows I never thought possible after the Matt Nagy era.

The #Bears have never fired a head coach midseason.

But if you keep Matt Eberflus after losing 31-0 at halftime - and a 3-17 record through 20 games - what message are you sending to the fans? To the players? This is simply unacceptable.
Man… I know we all laugh because they stink but like… Bears fans had actual hope this past off-season

The #Bears are really the worst team in the league through three games. It’s not even close. It’s pathetic - it’s just not acceptable.

The game already looks out of reach for the Bears, putting a punctuation mark on a grueling week for the team and its fans. At best, Chicago may have to hope for avoiding a shutout. And perhaps holding the Chiefs to under 70 points.
Regardless, Fox doesn't seem interested in continuing to televise the carnage to a national America's Game of the Week audience. After halftime, the network switched coverage to the Cowboys-Cardinals matchup. Unfortunately, regional viewers have to stick with the Bears unless they turn the channel.
