NFL Fans Couldn’t Stop Laughing at Jameis Winston’s Sweet Sideline Moment With Derek Carr

New Orleans Saints backup quarterback Jameis Winston has long been one of the odder personalities in the NFL. But the Fox broadcast cameras during Sunday’s loss to the Detroit Lions caught yet another hilarious moment of “Jameis being Jameis,” as he shared a moment with starting quarterback Derek Carr.

Carr and Winston were sitting next to each other on the Saints sideline when, seemingly out of nowhere, Winston gave Carr a few taps on the back for support. Perhaps they were just out of encouragement, given the Saints trailed at that point by two touchdowns, but the moment was hilarious, and fans loved it.

Jameis did get into the game later in the contest after Carr was hurt in the fourth quarter. He finished off a touchdown drive started by Carr, but turned the ball over on downs with a chance to give New Orleans the lead late.

Regardless, the clip was yet another reason why fans love the former Florida State star QB, whose antics have been plentiful over the years. This one may not top “eating a W”, but it did generate plenty of reaction on social media.
