There was so much hope for the Denver Broncos heading into Week 1.
Russell Wilson was taking the reins under center, giving the franchise a star QB for the first time since Peyton Manning was there. He was going to Seattle for a REVENGE GAME!!
Then, the wheels fell off in Week 1.
There were turnovers in the red zone. And then there was the bizarre decision from first-year head coach Nathaniel Hackett to not take a timeout and go for it on a fourth-and-five situation instead of taking a 64-yard (!!!) field goal attempt in Seattle.
So fans unearthed a clip of Hackett talking about how he “definitely snuck in here” and made it into a meme:
It's everywhere!
I believe Nathaniel Hackett 😂😂

I'm starting to believe the whole Aaron Rodgers conspiracy … Den thought they were getting him so signed "his" coach and Rodgers would make him look good. https://t.co/JeXRF8tWLT
