The Minnesota Vikings went on the clock with two potential quarterbacks of the future in Kentucky’s Will Levis and Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker. They didn’t think it was worth the investment and they couldn’t find a trade partner.
With the 23rd overall selection, the Vikings select USC wide receiver Jordan Addison.
With the departure of Adam Thielen in the offseason, taking a replacement was a high priority. He has incredibly savvy to win with his route running and in open space. Addison also won the Biletnikoff Award in 2021 when playing at Pitt with Kenny Pickett as his quarterback.
