It’s draft night. The NFL will welcome 32 new players in the first round Thursday night, and fans everywhere will begin to dream of those players being the difference.
It’s an exhilarating night. A really meaningful night. Sure, we’re subjected to the goofy Roger Goddell hug fest, but beyond that there’s a lot of magic to what’s happening here.
You’ve read all the mock drafts, studied every QB ranking list. You know there are dozens upon dozens of ways this could go. Also, you’ve watched the NFL. So you know that, while first-round picks generally contribute, there’s simply no science or art when it comes to drafting. A lot of it is just luck.
But we’re here to do our best to help you evaluate ever pick based on the film we’ve seen and stats we’ve studied.
