Jalen Carter was so comfortable with his draft status that he canceled visits with teams outside the top ten.
With the draft set to kick off on Thursday night, the all-American defensive tackle to that confidence to another level at a pre-draft event in Kansas City.
Despite some off-field concerns, Carter remains the consensus top defensive tackle throughout the pre-draft process.
On Wednesday, Carter spoke to NFL.com lead draft writer Eric Edholm at the NFL’s Play Football Clinic and asked if he was confident the Philadelphia Eagles would select him should he remain on the board at 10.
“Yes, sir. I believe that.”
Carter echoed those comments to John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia.
Verrrrrrrry interesting insight on the possibility of Georgia DL Jalen Carter to the Eagles… from Carter himself 🤔

The idea is that reuniting Carter with Nakobe Dean and Jordan Davis, along with the support system of Brandon Graham and Fletcher Cox, would allow the All-American defensive tackle to flourish after some adversity.
