Will Levis has a history of winning on and off the field, with his girlfriend Gia Duddy Instagram and TikTok famous, amassing over 400,000 followers on both platforms combined.
The 23-year-old Kentucky quarterback had a rough night on Thursday, not being selected in the first round of the NFL Draft - but his fortunes could be better in Friday’s round two with Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay teasing a potential selection despite already picking up Anthony Richardson at No4.
Girlfriend Gia, 21, was by his side alongside family members as all 31 picks passed him by with cameras laser-focused on his reaction. Levis started dating Penn State senior Gia, who is majoring in behavioural health, when he was a quarterback at the college before he transferred to Kentucky.
Gia was often present at Levis’ college football games and the NFL Draft ’s hottest couple celebrated their two-year anniversary in January.
Despite going to colleges 554 miles apart, Gia made sure to be Levis’ good luck charm as he threw for 233 yards and a touchdown in the 20-17 victory over the Hawkeyes at the Citrus Bowl.
Levis is a regular on Gia’s Instagram, where she posts cute snaps of them, as well as her TikTok. Gia regularly drops jaws with her hair and makeup routines with her big blue eyes drawing the most compliments.
Interestingly, Gia is quite the athlete herself, playing on the varsity lacrosse team during her high school years at Berks Catholic High School in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Unfortunately for NFL fans who fell in love with Gia, like Levis, they won’t get to see her on their TV screens for rounds two and three. Levis has decided to snub the ceremony after Thursday’s embarrassment.
The Kentucky ace has reportedly left Kansas City, where the draft is being held, ahead of the second round, in order to return to Massachusetts.
Levis has also received support from NFL players, with NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Sauce Gardner addressing him on Twitter. “Will Levis... God makes no mistakes. You will be great,” the Jets cornerback said.
Other reports suggest a toe injury from last season could be the reason teams passed on Levis. The player missed two games as a result and despite Levis claiming he had overcome the issue, NFL franchises weren’t as convinced.
In fact, an NFL team believes that Levis would eventually have to have surgery on the toe after managing the injury throughout the 2023 season.
