The 2023 NFL draft is not far away with Kansas City hosting this year's edition.
Kansas City is hosting the 2023 NFL Draft with a plaza being set up outside the city's historic Union Station. Slated for April 27 over three days, top college players will find out where they are heading for a crack at the big time. The NFL Draft is a chance for the professional teams to add star quality to their ranks with the best NCAA football players heading into the NFL.
They will get the opportunity to make their mark and, hopefully, forge a solid career in the NFL. Last year's draft, held in Las Vegas, saw Travon Walker drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars but the standout pick was that of 'Mr Irrelevant' Brock Purdy.

Taken by the San Francisco 49ers, Purdy was the last pick of the 2022 Draft having been drafted as the 41st pick of the seventh round and the 262nd player overall.
Purdy, though, led the 49ers to the second seed in the playoffs having won his five starts after coming in for the injured Jimmy Garoppolo.
This year, the Chicago Bears have the first pick of the Draft while the Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks complete the top five picks.
As far as television coverage is concerned, there is always lots of interest around the Draft and ESPN, NFL Network and ABC have the rights to video from the event while ESPN Deportes will be broadcasting the action for Spanish speakers.
Sky Sports will have wall-to-wall coverage of the Draft in the United Kingdom while ESPN Radio is covering the action for listeners in the US.
Last year's draft began at 8pm Eastern Time from Las Vegas, and it is likely that this year's draft will start at the same time.
