Bryce Young was selected first in the 2023 NFL Draft, but one of the biggest talking points was his fellow quarterback Will Levis completely sliding down the order after being tipped to go early.
Levis eventually fell out of the first round entirely, and will have to wait for the second round on Friday, after being originally tipped to go within the first ten picks. The first four picks were dominated by quarterbacks, with CJ Stroud going second before Anthony Richardson was taken by the Indianapolis Colts.
The Houston Texans made a splash of their own by trading up to take the third pick - selecting the best defensive player in the draft, Will Anderson Jr - after taking Stroud second. There were also big wins for the Seattle Seahawks, who took Devon Witherspoon and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and the Philadelphia Eagles, who took Jalen Carter.
