NFL Divisional Round: Preview, Schedule, Odds, & How To Watch

The NFL Divisional round is set. Below is everything you need for each NFL Divisional round game.

Houston Texans @ Kansas City Chiefs (-8.0) (O/U:42.0)

Houston entered the playoffs banged up. WRs Stefon Diggs, Nico Collins, and Tank Dell gave Houston a good WR trio. However, Diggs and Dell suffered season-ending injuries. However, this did not stop Houston from defeating the Chargers 32-12 in the wild-card round behind their defense. They sacked Herbert four times and intercepted him four times. If Houston has any chance of going into Kansas City and upsetting Mahomes, the defense needs to play lights out once again.

The Kansas City Chiefs finished the season with a 15-2 record. They finished first in the AFC and got a bye week in the wild-card round. With Mahomes and Andy Reid, the Chiefs have a massive advantage against most teams. They will be motivated to make history as the only team to three-peat in NFL history.

Chiefs vs. Texans Schedule, Odds, & How To Watch

The Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs will play at 4:30 PM EST on Saturday, January 18 during the Divisional round.

The Chiefs open as eight-point favorites on the road against the Texans. The total for the contest is 42.0.

This contest will be aired on ABC and ESPN.

Washington Commanders @ Detroit Lions (-8.5) (O/U:55.5)

Jayden Daniels is likely to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award and has turned around the Commanders organization. Nobody expected this Washington team to win 12 games but they did that behind Daniels. Not only did they win 12 games during the season after winning four last year but they went into Tampa Bay and knocked them out in the wild-card round. Now, they are set to face the Detroit Lions and Jayden Daniels will need to be extra special for the Commanders to have a chance to pull off the massive upset.

The Detroit Lions had a taste of playoff atmosphere in week 18 when they defeated the Minnesota Vikings to win the NFC North and finish first in the NFC. Detroit had the best offense in the league this season. The Lions’ defense has numerous injuries but they shined in week 18. With the best offense in the league, the Lions are favored to win the Super Bowl.

Lions vs. Commanders Schedule, Odds, & How To Watch

The Commanders will take on the Lions on Saturday, January 18 at 8 PM EST.

Washington is the biggest underdog of any team for the Divisional round. Detroit is favored by 8.5 points. The total for the game is set at 55.5.

This game will be shown on FOX.

Los Angeles Rams @ Philadelphia Eagles (-6.0) (O/U:43.5)

Los Angeles rested all key players in week 18. Before week 18, the Rams won five straight games. Their defense improved as the season went on, allowing less than 10 points from weeks 15 to 17. The defense picked right up where they left off in the wild-card round. The defense suffocated Sam Darnold, sacking Darnold a whopping nine times. They also picked off Darnold once and Darnold lost a fumble. They need a repeat performance from their defense against the Eagles.

The Eagles won 14 games during the season. Saquon Barkley has been the MVP for the Eagles. In the wild-card round against the Packers, he had 119 rushing yards on 25 carries. Barkley also had two catches and four receiving yards. Barkley destroyed the
Rams during the season. He recorded a ridiculous 255 rushing yards and two rushing TDs against LA in week 12 of the regular season. Philly beat the Rams 37-20 in week 12 during the season.

Eagles vs. Rams Schedule, Odds, & How To Watch

The Rams and Eagles will square off on Sunday, January 19 at 3 PM EST.

This contest will be aired on NBC, Peacock, and Universo.

Baltimore Ravens @ Buffalo Bills (-1.0) (O/U:51.5)

The Baltimore Ravens stomped the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild-card round. They will now face the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional round. Back in week 4, the Ravens smoked the Bills 35-10. Derrick Henry had a whopping 199 rushing yards, one rushing TD, three catches, 10 receiving yards, and one receiving TD. The Ravens hope they can duplicate the rush attack once again against the Bills.

The Buffalo Bills crushed the Denver Broncos 31-7 in the wild-card round. They are now set to host the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional round. Buffalo got destroyed against the Ravens in Baltimore back in week 4. Derrick Henry ran all over the Bills. Josh Allen may need to put his cape on and be Superman for the Bills to defeat Baltimore.

Bills vs. Ravens Schedule, Odds, & How To Watch

The Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills will square off on Sunday, January 19 at 6:30 PM EST.
