Devising the perfect Daily Fantasy Sports strategy for the NFL can be a challenge, which is why I'm here to assist.
On DraftKings, it's important to remember you're playing full-point PPR with bonuses if a player surpasses 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards or 100 receiving yards.
Here is my optimal lineup for Sunday's $3.5 million Fantasy Football Millionaire contest, but can be utilized as a foundation in other games and platforms.
All prices listed are courtesy of DraftKings with a $50,000 budget.
These lineups have netted $160, so I'm in the black $20 through eight weeks.
QB: Joe Burrow, Bengals ($6,600)
A matchup with the Panthers at home is exactly what the doctor ordered after Cincinnati got molly whopped by the Browns on Monday Night Football. Carolina simply doesn't have the pass rush to take advantage of the Bengals' inconsistent offensive line, which means Burrow will do what he's done for most of the season — he's produced multiple touchdowns in seven of eight games.
— RB: Joe Mixon, Bengals ($6,500)
Mixon hasn't had a smash game yet despite averaging over 20 touches per game. This means some positive-touchdown regression could be on deck, especially with a potentially favorable game script.
— RB: Kenneth Walker, Seahawks ($6,200)
Walker is third in rushing yards (404), tied for third in Missed Tackles Forced (19) and tied for first in rushing touchdowns (five) since Week 5.
— WR: Tee Higgins, Bengals ($7,300)
The Panthers have allowed the NFL's second-most receptions (117) and 11th-most yards (1,279) to wide receivers through eight games.
— WR: Terry McLaurin, Commanders ($5,900)
The Vikings have allowed the league's fourth-most yards to wide receivers (1,391) despite already having their bye week.
— WR: DJ Moore, Panthers ($5,800)
Moore has 13 receptions for 221 yards and two TDs on 21 targets in the last two weeks since Christian McCaffrey was traded to the 49ers.
— TE: Zach Ertz, Cardinals ($5,100)
The Seahawks are hemorrhaging fantasy points to tight ends this season and Ertz has been a top-three option at the position in full-PPR through eight games.
— FLEX: Zay Jones, Jaguars ($4,100)
Only Christian Kirk is getting more targets per game than Jones for Jacksonville, and it's closer than you'd think — 7.6 to 7.1. The usage and a matchup against the Raiders, his former team who happens to have a very beatable secondary makes this price tag a bargain.
— DST: Seattle Seahawks ($2,500)
This unit sacked Kyler Murray six times, forcing two turnovers and held the Cardinals to nine points three weeks ago. It's fifth-highest scoring defense in fantasy since Week 4 and makes a solid stack with Walker.
