NFL DFS Week 12 optimal lineup

Devising the perfect Daily Fantasy Sports strategy for the NFL can be a challenge, which is why I'm here to assist.

On DraftKings, it's important to remember you're playing full-point PPR with bonuses if a player surpasses 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards or 100 receiving yards.

Here is my optimal lineup for Sunday's $3 million Fantasy Football Millionaire contest, but can be utilized as a foundation in other games and platforms.

All prices listed are courtesy of DraftKings with a $50,000 budget.

These lineups have netted $230, so I'm in the black $30 through 11 weeks.

— QB: Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs ($8,200)

Mahomes has at least 329 passing yards in five straight games with at least three touchdown passes in six of 10 games this season. He's well on his way to his second NFL MVP Award.

— RB: Kenneth Walker, Seahawks ($6,900)

In Walker's last six games (five starts) before Seattle's bye, he was tied for first in 10-plus-yard rushes (12), tied for third in missed tackles forced (19) and tied for ninth in yards after contact per attempt (3.59), according to Pro Football Focus. Running backs have averaged 149 total yards with almost seven receptions per game and scored 10 TDs against the Raiders this season.

— RB: Rachaad White, Buccaneers ($5,100)

The backfield has been slowly, but surely trending in the White's favor for the last month and this culminated with him receiving his first start against the Seahawks in Munich, finishing with a career-best 105 yards on 22 carries. The Browns have allowed the second-most fantasy points to running backs and Leonard Fournette has been ruled out with a hip injury.

— WR: Keenan Allen, Chargers ($6,100)

Allen's almost guaranteed a 30% target share with Mike Williams inactive and faces a defense that has allowed the fifth-most passing yards in the NFL this season. Plus, the Cardinals are playing on a short week following its high-altitude loss to the 49ers in Mexico City.

— WR: Treylon Burks, Titans ($4,200)

Burks has barely played over half of Tennessee's snaps, but has still received 14 targets in two games since returning from injured reserve following his foot injury. That's a 26% target share since Week 10 and you're getting it on the cheap.

— WR: Skyy Moore, Chiefs ($3,000)

I anticipate JuJu Smith-Schuster will draw Jalen Ramsey's attention for most of the day, encouraging Mahomes to distribute targets elsewhere. Moore only ran 16 routes in Week 11, but he received a whopping 37.5% target share on those routes, making five catches for 63 yards against the Chargers.

— TE: Travis Kelce, Chiefs ($7,700)

Kelce is a cheat code at tight end. In his 10th season, he's on pace for 160 targets, 117 receptions, 1,454 yards and 19 TDs. Each of those numbers would be a new career high for the future Hall of Famer.

— FLEX: Jeff Wilson, Dolphins ($5,900)

Miami is a sizable home favorite over the Texans and Raheem Mostert is likely out with a knee injury. Wilson should receive a hefty dual-threat workload against a Houston defense allowing the most fantasy points to running backs this season.

— DST: Kansas City Chiefs ($2,800)

I'm starting two defenses in the majority of my lineups this week. Kansas City and the Jets ($3,300), who are a solid pivot option off of the Chiefs, but the correlation with my Mahomes-Moore-Kelce stack is worth swallowing some chalk. Kansas City is a double-digit home favorite against a backup quarterback and an awful offensive line.
