NFL DFS Week 10: Building Around an Unlikely Stack

It’s time to set your Week 10 DFS lineups.

Some of the biggest DFS stars are not available this week as the Chiefs, Rams, Dolphins and Eagles are all on a bye. The Bills are also not available due to playing on Monday night, but there are still plenty of great options available for Sunday.

All of the players on today’s list are expected to return value regardless of salary. Check back tomorrow for our favorite bargain players and dart throws.

Quarterbacks

Jared Goff, Lions

Disregard everything you’ve heard about Goff’s road splits. This week the Lions will be healthy and rested coming off the bye, and the Chargers have allowed the second-most DFS points to opposing quarterbacks this season. This game has the highest total of the slate at SI Sportssbook.

Kyler Murray, Cardinals

Is this crazy? Maybe, but let’s have some fun. Sure, players often don’t run as much coming off an ACL tear, but the Falcons have allowed the seventh-most rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks this year. Not only that, but they’ve also allowed 17 passing touchdowns (third-most).

Running Backs

Tony Pollard, Cowboys

I’m calling it now: This is the week the Cowboys get Pollard going. The Giants are a shell of a team, and the Cowboys trounced them, 40-0, back in Week 1. It was also the only game this season in which Pollard got into the end zone -- and he did it twice. That’s right, both of his touchdowns this season were scored vs. the Giants. Why fix what isn’t broken? The Giants have allowed the third-most DFS points, rushing yards and touchdowns to the positions, and game script is in his favor, too, with the Cowboys currently favored by 16.5 on SI Sportsbook.

Breece Hall, Jets

A matchup with the Raiders is just what Hall needs to get back on track. The Raiders have allowed the most rushing yards and fourth-most DFS points to running backs this season. With Las Vegas allowing a healthy 4.65 yards per carry, Hall, who is averaging an impressive 5.2 yards per carry this season, should be heavily involved in this Jets game plan, which is struggling with Zach Wilson under center.

Wide Receivers

DeAndre Hopkins, Titans

Did you see what C.J. Stroud and Tank Dell did to this Buccaneers secondary last week? I am getting Nuk in every single one of my lineups. With Will Levis officially the starter, Hopkins has the potential to blow up on any given Sunday, and I’m betting on this Sunday. In two games with Levis, Hopkins has seen 17 targets for 188 yards and three touchdowns.

Tyler Lockett/DK Metcalf, Seahawks

Both receivers should be in play this week vs. a Commanders defense that has allowed the second-most receiving yards (1,703) and touchdowns (13) to wideouts this season.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions

Robert Deutsch/USA TODAY Sports

The Chargers are allowing 9.22 yards per target and 191 receiving yards per game to wideouts. St. Brown is the alpha for the Lions, with a 28% target share and 34.3% of the teams receiving yards. He's also averaging 95 receiving yards per game. Fire him up.

Marquise Brown, Cardinals

I’ve got to complete my Kyler stack, and I’m betting the connection between Murray and Brown will still be there. Brown has a 26% target share and 50% of the team’s receiving touchdowns, and the Falcons have allowed the third-most touchdowns to wideouts this year (11).

Tight Ends

Sam LaPorta, Lions

The Chargers have allowed the third-most yards and 8.24 yards per target to opposing tight ends this season. LaPorta is averaging more than seven targets and 54 yards per game this season. He has finished top 10 at the position in six of eight games played this season.

Dalton Schultz, Texans

Schultz has finished Top 6 at the position in four of the last five games played -- including last week vs. Tampa Bay, when he went off for 10 catches, 130 yards and a touchdown and finished as the TE1. This week’s matchup is even better vs. a Bengals defense that has allowed 15.4 DFS points per game to tight ends, including an 81% catch rate. With talented rookie Stroud tossing him the ball, Schultz is in for another big Sunday.
