When the Los Angeles Rams’ schedule was released, their final two games of the season didn’t have dates or times. The NFL left those games up in the air, allowing league officials to move around the schedule and flex matchups to Saturday.
On Tuesday, the league announced which games are being moved to Saturday in Week 17, and Rams-Cardinals is one of them. That pivotal NFC West matchup is getting the prime-time treatment on Saturday, Dec. 28, with kickoff set for 8:15 p.m. ET on NFL Network and locally on CBS.
Chargers-Patriots has also been flexed to Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. ET, while Broncos-Bengals will be played that day at 4:30 p.m. ET as part of the NFL’s tripleheader.

Given the playoff implications of Rams-Cardinals, it’s no surprise that game got moved to Saturday night. It was one of five games with the possibility of being flexed to Saturday and it’s a crucial one for both teams’ postseason hopes.
Falcons-Commanders, which was also eligible to be played on Saturday, will be the Sunday Night Football game in Week 17.
