NFL announces 2025 game in Madrid; Cardinals won’t play in it

The NFL is expanding its international game schedule. In addition to two games in London in 2025 and an announced game in Berlin in which the Indianapolis Colts are the designated home team, the league announced Friday that there will be a game in Madrid, Spain in 2025 at Bernabeu Stadium, where Real Madrid plays its home games.

The Miami Dolphins will be the designated home team for that game.

That means the Arizona Cardinals will not be taking a trip to Spain this next season. They are not scheduled to play the Miami Dolphins in 2025.

The Cardinals do have the possibility of playing in an international game, as they are scheduled to face Indianapolis on the road, so it is possible they will play in Berlin against them, but the first-ever NFL game in Madrid will not involve the Cardinals.

We will find out with the NFL schedule release in May who will face Miami in that game.
