NFL superstar DK Metcalf scored 20 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and registered four blocks in his NBA all-star celebrity game performance as he took home the MVP award.
The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver impressed millions watching on as he looked to be a step above everyone else on the court with a number of emphatic dunks to win the game for Team Dwayne (Wade).
The American Football star has had an incredible four seasons since entering the NFL, with 4,769 receiving yards and 40 touchdowns to his name at the age of just 25.
Metcalf, who has rarely spoken of his basketball abilities, was a surprise late addition to the NBA all-star celebrity game roster, which also featured WWE star The Miz, rapper 21 Savage and US Open semi-finalist Frances Tiafoe.
It's the third sport that fans have seen Metcalf given a go on the big stage now, after he attempted to qualify for the 2024 Olympics when he ran the 100-metre dash in 2021 - finishing with the heat with an impressive time at 10.35 - especially given his size of 6'4 and 230lbs (weighing around 25lbs more than the average sprinter).
In the all-star game, Metcalf and former Baseball star Albert Pujols had been trading baskets, with the Seahawks star leading NBA legend Dwayne Wade's team to being up three points in the dying seconds.
The Miz thought he had won the game for Metcalf's opposition when he hit a four-point shot with time expiring, but he did not get the shot off in time and the basket did not count.
NFL fans were of the belief that Metcalf might have been in for a difficult season in 2022 after the Seahawks traded away star quarterback Russell Wilson, but back-up Geno Smith stepped in and stepped up - performing at a high level and giving Metcalf his most catches in a season as he broke the 1,000 yard mark yet again.
The Seahawks now have the fifth round draft pick where they could add another quarterback to compete with Smith in what looks to be one of the more exciting drafts at the position in years, with Bryce Young (Alabama), CJ Stroud (Ohio State), Will Levis (Kentucky) and Anthony Richardson (Florida) all passers who are being rumoured to be in consideration to be taken with the first overall selection.
Metcalf signed a three-year $72 million extension last summer, that will see him contracted with the Seahawks through the 2025 campaign.
