The NFC West went 3-1 in consecutive weeks. In Week 5, though, only the San Francisco 49ers won. The Seattle Seahawks were idle and both the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams lost their matchups against Cincinnati and Phialdelphia.
Entering Week 6, the 49ers extended their lead in the division.

San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers played Sunday night and absolutely dismantled the Dallas Cowboys, beating them 42-10. Brock Purdy threw four touchdown passes and the defense picked off Dak Prescott three times.
Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks had their bye week in Week 5.
Los Angeles Rams
The Rams lost 23-14 to the Philadelphia Eagles in receiver Cooper Kupp’s return. Kupp had eight receptions for 118 yards in his return and rookie Puka Nacua continued to produce with seven catches for 71 yards and a touchdown.
But they gave up 454 yards to the Eagles and allowed them to convert on 13-of-18 third downs.
Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals were the team the Cincinnati Bengals got right against. The previously struggling Bengals blew out the Cardinals 34-20 as Joe Burrow passed for 317 yards and three touchdowns, all to receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who had 15 catches for 192 yards.
Cardinals quarterback Josh Dobbs turned the ball over three times.
