The Seahawks saved their playoff lives on Monday night when they upset the Eagles at Lumen Field. According to PFF’s playoff math, a loss would have dropped their chances of making the postseason down to just 10%. The win pushes them back up into coin-flip territory (49%).
Thanks to the victory, Seattle jumped up one spot in the conference standings. They are tied with four other NFC teams with a 7-7 record. Thanks to the tie-breakers, they rank No. 8 heading into Week 16. Their two losses against the Rams are hitting them hard here, as winning one of those matchups would have them in the playoff picture right now.
