The Seahawks are back in control of their playoff destiny thanks to two improbable crunch-time wins. Sunday’s victory over the Titans, combined with the Vikings’ loss to the Lions put Seattle back on pace for a playoff spot – they are currently holding the No. 7 seed. The 49ers are still on top but they are now in a three-way tie with the Eagles and the Lions for the NFC’s best record. Meanwhile, at the bottom of the conference there are now four teams that have been eliminated from postseason contention.
