The Arizona Cardinals will not make the postseason this year. We know that as they sit at 3-10 on the season.
But what does the NFC playoff picture look like this week?

Currently would be in the playoffs
- Philadelphia Eagles, 10-2
- San Francisco 49ers, 9-3
- Detroit Lions, 9-3
- Atlanta Falcons, 6-6
- Dallas Cowboys, 9-3
- Minnesota Vikings, 6-6
- Green Bay Packers, 6-6
The 49ers have a better conference record than the Lions, which is why they are seeded ahead of them. The Falcons are in right not because they lead the NFC South.
In the mix
- Los Angeles Rams, 6-6
- Seattle Seahawks, 6-6
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 5-7
- New Orleans Saints, 5-7
The Packers have the No. 7 seed because they beat the Rams this season. The Rams beat the Seahawks twice so will hold any tiebreaker over them.
Week 14 games that matter
Buccaneers-Falcons
The game impacts the NFC South race and the back end of the wild card.
Rams-Ravens
The Rams have a chance to go over .500 and, with a loss by the Packers, get into the playoff picture instead of being in the mix.
Lions-Bears
The Eagles’ loss last week gives the Lions a shot at the No. 1 seed if they keep winning.
Seahawks-49ers
The Seahawks were once in first place in the NFC West. Now they could drop to below .500. The 49ers are playing for the No. 1 seed.
Vikings-Raiders
Can Josh Dobbs keep the Vikings in the playoff picture?
Eagles-Cowboys
This has NFC East implications and, if the Cowboys win, make the top of the NFC up for grabs.
Packers-Giants
The Packers cling to the final wild card spot right now and need wins to stay there.
