Neymar is once again dominating headlines in the transfer window, with Chelsea having been linked with a move for the Brazilian superstar.
The 30-year-old’s future has been a constant talking point since he made his record £200million move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain. And it’s a move to the Premier League that is being spoken about this summer.
Chelsea are among the sides being linked with his services, but they’re not the only ones. Here’s what’s been reported so far.

Chelsea stance ‘could change’ on Neymar
The Blues are said to be looking at alternative attacking targets after Raphinha made the move to Barcelona. With Raheem Sterling having completed his move to Stamford Bridge, Thomas Tuchel is reportedly looking at who else he can bring in to support the former Manchester City man.
According to the Evening Standard, the Chelsea boss is ‘lukewarm’ to the prospect of Cristiano Ronaldo joining, with his agent Jorge Mendes having discussed a potential move with Todd Boehly. Tuchel is also said to have had a similar reaction to the idea of Neymar joining the club.
The report though does state the Blues’ stance could change later in the window. Tuchel of course worked with Neymar during his time at PSG, and will know all about the Brazilian should Chelsea choose to revisit the idea.
Blues and Man City ‘contacted’ by agent
The rumours have begun resurfacing after Chelsea were among the sides said to have been contacted by Neymar’s agents. They’re not the only side said to have been offered the Brazilian’s services though.
According to 90min, Manchester City are also said to have been contacted by the 30-year-old’s representatives. PSG are reportedly looking to cash in on the Brazilian, despite him only signing a new deal last year.
Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also said to have been contacted. The report claims though that there is some division in the French capital, with some of the PSG board not keen on selling Neymar.
The latest reports have also suggested City are 'back in' for the Brazil international. According to Sports Illustrated and Josh Wilson, Pep Guardiola's side can now afford to make an offer for Neymar following Sterling's departure, while others are expected to move on.
‘One big reason’ Blues won’t sign Neymar
Despite the rumours, there is said to be one big reason why Chelsea and their rivals won’t sign Neymar this summer. According to the Independent, Neymar’s astronomical wages are thought to be a major hurdle to him making a move to the Premier League.
Having signed a new deal just last year, the Brazilian is said to be earning £35m per season. That could well price him out of any move, with very few teams able to offer him a similar salary.
